  • Although the employee who helped us did a good job, she had her mask dorm around her neck. She helped us not only behind the counter, but in the lobby as well. My husband and I had masks on, but at no time did she pull her mask over her mouth or nose. This is not acceptable.

  • I mailed a pkg to Florida on 7/15/20 with delivery expected on 7/19/20. I just checked the tracking number and the sight stated that it was still in transit. I am very, very upset that it has taken this time to arrive in Florida.

  • Sent pkg Monday , was to arrive destination Wed or Thur - Thur was tracked in Wilmington, three days later, still there. Today, Monday, still there. Was to be in Bear LAST week. Was Tobey there in time for special occasion last Sat. Soooooo disappointed.

  • People like to complain about the USPS and its workers. I’ve never worked in the Postal system but I say if you’ve never done so you have no idea what it’s like. Workers inside post office take a lot of flack because people like to complain and are selfish. Some enjoy complaining about their own mail carriers who are an easy target when delivery is delayed. I think about the dogs in yards, the locked gates, the irate postal customers the carriers have to encounter. I didn’t already feel this way: when was in my twenties and less selfish and immature than I am today, I happened to receive mail in my box meant for another customer, several days in a row. One day I attached a note to one of the envelopes meant for a different customer that I was putting back in my box to be picked up. My note expressed my annoyance at receiving someone else’s mail by mistake and I threatened that if it happened again I was going to throw it away. The mail carrier read my note and rang my doorbell and apologized and also explained that I would be breaking federal B law if I messed with the mail. That bit of information was important to me so b I learned from that encounter. I also appreciated the apology. The interaction showed me that the individual was a human being and we all make mistakes. I also learned about my own selfishness. I learned to write a small note on an envelope wrongly delivered saying Not At This Address. The country needs the USPS and the government needs to bail it out and find it properly.
